Financiers are a type of mini French cake. Their name comes from their rectangular shape, which resembles that of a gold bar! Traditional financiers are made with lots of browned-butter and almonds, but we have created a coconutty gluten-free AND dairy-free version for you!

Handy Baking Equipment
You will needed to add 150g egg white (or 5 eggs' worth).
You will also need large and small mixing bowls, a balloon whisk, a couple spoons, a saucepan and hob (or microwave, to melt the oil and chocolate) and your oven.
Preparation 25 mins + Chilling 20 mins + Baking 20 mins = Total: 1 hour 5 minutes
